Draper has been manufacturing projection screens in Spiceland, Indiana since 1902, and that longevity matters in a category where the screen is a permanent architectural element. Screen choice drives more of your final image quality than most people expect. Gain, texture, and ambient-light rejection determine contrast and black level in the real room, and a tab-tensioned surface keeps the image geometrically flat so the projector's lens can actually resolve 4K detail across the whole frame. Draper's material range lets us match the surface to the projector's output, the throw distance, the seating layout, and how much light the room has to live with, including acoustically transparent surfaces when the front three speakers belong behind the screen.

Draper's motorized and recessed products are the reason a media room can be a living room the rest of the week: the screen drops from a plaster pocket in the ceiling, the projector rises out of a lift or stays hidden in a soffit, and the room reads as a room again when the movie ends.
